There are a great deal of the phenomena about the extensive use ofChinese addresses of relations in new words. In this paper,the new words areclassified into two categories:network new words and the masses new words.From the point of lexicology, social linguistics, we use the ways of descriptionwith interpretation and comparative analysis and so on to research the extensivephenomenon of Chinese addresses of relations in new words,and then we findsome main features in the study as follows:Ⅰ. The extensive use of Chinese addresses of relations in new words isinfluenced by network media and are constantly produced and widely spread. Thereare some new synonyms in the extensive use. These synonyms are in free competitionwith a different eliminated speed.Ⅱ. The extensive use of Chinese addresses of relations in new words has theoption to the addresses of relations. Apart from two addresses of relations of maternalrelatives such as “maternal grandmother and aunt” in network new words, others areaddress of relatives on the paternal clan side such as “brother, sister-in-law, sister,young brother, young sister, paternal grandfather, paternal grandmother, father, mother”. These extensive use of Chinese addresses of relations fall off the meaningwhich means lost, throw the word meaning and develop into affixation.Ⅲ. Because of the network virtual, the extensive use of Chinese addresses ofrelations in network new words appear the phenomenon which according to the netsage to set his elders. In order to write convenient, the net citizen create letter wordwhich in terms of the abbreviation of initial consonant of a Chinese syllable and usethe Chinese which mix English.Ⅳ. Among the masses new words, the extensive use of Chinese addresses ofrelations arise with an appearance of the same morpheme word group and showextreme imbalance. The number of brother word group dominate the first place, thenthe next is the word groups such as sister, sister-in-law, grandfather, and the least isthe word groups like young brother, grandmother and mother(niang). Because mostof net citizens are young people, and these words are transformed from cyber word tosocial terms at first. Apart from that, the traditional cultural psychology such aspatriarchal society, elder respecting and classic cognitive categories result in thattogether.Ⅴ. There are some situations such as regardless of degress, hierarchical disorder,gender variant and mixing characters among the extensive use of Chinese addressesof relations in the masses new words. These kinds of addresses that deliberatelyviolated the regular communication play a strong visual and audio effect, especiallythe mixing usage of gender and characters.Ⅵ. By network effecting, besides the making form of is last name, first name, occupation and addresses of relations, the extensive use of Chinese addresses ofrelations in the masses new words also are a lot of adjective, noun, verb, eventand addresses of relations. The latter doesn’t exist in the general extensive useof Chinese addresses of relations.Ⅶ. Based on the regulation of developing language and the feature of theextensive use of Chinese addresses of relations in the new words nowadays, we canpredict that there are a great amount of vocabularies like these kind of words andappear with the major form of three syllables.There are some disadvantage in this research: it is uncertain about the makingform in standard for classification of the extensive use of Chinese addresses ofrelations in new words. It is a little rough for the interpretation of the extensive useimbalance and so on, which are not concerned and wait to research and add up.
