Since1453each nation in the Balkan region has been under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, and this region was the provinces of the empire in Europe. But with the decline of the Ottoman Empire during18and19centuries, the Balkan nations began to rebel against feudalism rule of the Ottoman Turks, and get rid of their rule to establish an independent nation. At the end of19th century the Balkans has produced the " Balkan problem " which constitutes the main melody of the international relations, which become the intersection of the international conflicts, including the imperialist powers between the small country, disputes between the Balkans and the European powers and the Ottoman Empire, the territorial contradiction between the small country of the Balkans. These disputes make this reign as an European "powder keg", which eventually led to the First World War. This paper focuses on the origin and evolution of this period "Balkan problem", as wells investigate and analyses the causes and influence of the problems. Understanding the sequence and the root causes of the Balkans’events, are help to understand practical significance of the modern Balkan.The thesis contains five parts, the first part is the introduction, expounds the research contents, value and significance, domestic and foreign research status, the thoughts and methods; The second part is the evolution of the Balkan problem, a systematic sorting the origin of the Balkan and historical process of evolution; The third part is the problems of the Balkans nation countries sharpened, mainly expounds the Bosnian Crisis, and two Balkan wars; The fourth part is the root of the Balkans problems, mainly from two aspects including internal contradictions of the Balkan nations and external interference of powers; The fifth part is the conclusion, in addition, the thesis focuses on analyzing the Balkan problems reflect norms of international relations, and its profound influences. In addition, this thesis put forward different views from the current epidemic historical views’Balkan national independence was finally get rid of five hundred years of oppression of Ottoman Empire’.
