Research On Epitaph Of The Northern Dynasty

Epitaph is an important kind of funeral burial goods in feudal society, with its large number of excavated available, it has become more and more important for the research in archeology、history、epigraphy, etc. Traditional epitaph study has belonged to the scope of the sphragistics, study means giving priority to prove "history", at the same time the study for literature characteristics and thought relatively less. The paper tries to start with the historical document, and comprehensively review and analyze the follow issues:the development of the Northern Dynasty epitaph and its style and character evaluation criteria. The papers from three components:First, the papers outline the changes about the literary style of epitaph from Qin to the Northern Dynasty. This research is based on history and historical document, It takes Qin-West Han, Eastern Han, Wei and Jin Dynasty, the Southern and the Northern Dynasties as the division, to analyze the changes in epitaph.Second, the papers discuss the development of the Northern Dynasty epitaph and the literature characteristics. This chapter explores the reasons for the booming of the Northern Dynasty Epitaph from the perspective of Economic, and cultural, trying to show the similarities and differences between the pre-Epitaph Epitaph Northern Dynasty epitaphs in literature style, the shortcomings in writing of the Northern Dynasty epitaphs also briefly discussed.Third, the papers accomplish studies on people judging in the Northern Dynasty Epitaph. This chapter takes all Articles From Three Generations of the Ancient and Qin and Han Dynasty and Three-Kingdom Period and Six-dynasties; the Explanation of Epitaph in Han, Wei and the Southern and Northern Dynasties; Epitaph Compilation in Han, Wei and the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and New Certification of the Epitaph in Han, Wei and the Southern and Northern Dynasties as the main basis for people judge criteria to analyze the mindset of the Epitaph.
