Begin with features prominent hunting frame from the grave and scroll handed down from ancient times. Divide into three types to summarize:hunting process, prepare and cease hunting, hunting environment. In order to reflect in painting the Liao dynasty hunting culture with a whole understanding. Then combined with painting and literature, comb and summarize the basic form of hunting. Thirdly, make the further analysis with the Liao dynasty hunting’s social effect which supply the consumer goods, military exercise and learn martial arts, gaming. At last, explore the Liao Dynasty hunting influences of the Liao Dynasty’s politics, folklore, and cultural.
