Bushido is the completed moral system develops with the hierarchy of samurai. it becomes moral guideline of the whole Japanese. In Samurai Society, it has directly promote the Japanese history, becomes moral guideline of the whole Japanese. The Japanese Cartoon as a sign of Japan culture, it is very important part of the Japan culture, it is important part of the life of the Japanese people as well. It can explain the mind and emotion of the Japanese people. The cartoon The Rurouni Kenshin, it uses the bushido as the story line, tell a story of a legend samurai in Tokugawa Regime, named Himura Kenshin. Inside the story, the Author creates a group of distinctive and great people, Himura Kenshin、Kamiya kaoru、 Shinomori Aoshi、Sojiro etc.They all grew up in the teaching of the bushido, from shogunate to the Meiji, they experienced a process of bushido to departure from the bushido. In the new generation, they are starting reflect the traditional Bushido, looking for new way of the samurai and new way of the life.As the development of the society, the thinking of people becomes more rationality, they start doubt about the contents of traditional bushido。The Japanese people continue to learn and inherit the traditional bushido。On the other hand, they are reflecting the death aesthetics, Women’s status and Privilege concept, create the new Values. Those changes of the Values, explains the changes of the current Japanese people’s mind. Research about these is main way to understanding the character of Japanese people.
