Opera JIANGJIE is a proud of Chinese national opera, and it plays an important rolein the history of the development of China Opera and adapted from the novel "RedRock" by Yan Su screenwriter, Yang Ming, Chunyang Jiang, Jinsha composer. Theworks use Sichuan folk songs as the mainly music material, while a wide range ofreference of the Sichuan Opera, Wu Opera, Opera and rap music and so on, so thatmake the works with strong ethnic style, showing sister Jiang and his comrades unafraidof death. The opera is the second wave of Chinese opera creation following theJIANGJIE This article made an analysis of multi-dimensional on the works and datamainly through the comprehensive study of musicology, history, dance, literature,sociology, art, science and philosophy. And make deep analysis on the music featuresand the performance characteristics of JIANGJIE, and its taking thinking for thedevelopment of Chinese opera. The first part of the content is the overview of thedevelopment and characteristics of Chinese opera and JIANGJIE. The second and thirdparts, respectively, from the two major aspects of music and performance characteristicsof JIANGJIE more in-depth, thorough analysis of music features include a selection offolk music material, the use of the theme running through, the reference of the dramaticmusical elements and the use of a variety of vocal music forms. The performancecharacteristics were analyzed from four aspects of folk singing, opera singingcharacteristics, Western singing and stage action. The fourth part made an analysis onthe four mainly songs of JIANGJIE. Part V discussed the thinking of the developmentof Chinese opera caused by JIANGJIE.
