On The Differences Between Chinese And Western Painting Modeling

The article discuss different culture’s way of thinking in Chinese and westernculture by comparison of its formation causes and formation characteristics. Theresults of the study show that different world outlook and values can lead to differentculture, and can result in different cultural position.This paper compare with the two aspects of Chinese and western painting.Oneis modeling concepts of Chinese and western painting and the other is technique ofexpression of Chinese and western painting.In the first, comparison of the modeling concept is by the following threeaspects:1. comparison of the way of thinking and ideas from its cultural cause andPerformance characteristics.2. Comparison of the deep ideology of abstract idea andrealism idea, and known the fundamental difference between abstract idea by thetheory that man is an integral part of nature and realistic idea by the theory of binaryopposition.3. Explain the different of graphic form and three-dimensional form.Secondly, comparison from the modelling forms of Chinese and westernpainting is by the following three aspects:1. Compared with the "line" in Chineseand western painting. Through the analysis in The Eight Diagrams, to reveal thedeeply cause of why Chinese painting shape with line and to point out thedifferences of the function of the “line” in Chinese and western painting.2.Throughthe contrast of scatterplot perspective and focus perspective in traditional Chineseand western paintings, discovered different culture have different culturalperspective and different modelling perspective.3. From the perspective of the colourperformance and development, this paper contrasts the culture characteristics ofChinese and western.The conclusion shows that the Chinese culture and western culture havedifferent attitudes when they explore the truth.
