Research On The Early Republic Of "Chuan Shan Study Group"

At the early republic of China, the Chinese nation from all orders and groups of society puts forward many methods to rescue China in order to eliminate the social crisis while it was facing domestic strife and foreign aggression. The history interwoven with reality, so the people often summon the undead history in order to meet the reality need. Chuan Shan Study Group is the first academic salvation community founded by Liu Renxi and other Hunan gentlemen in the early republic of China. Chuan Shan Study Group holds speech regularly, such as exposing and condemning the activities of the imperialism damaging Chinese nation by the collusion between the northern warlords. What’s more, Chuan Shan Study Group printed and published Chuan Shan’s works and issued Chuan Shan Journal expanding the influence of Wang Chuanshan deeply. It arouses the attentions of scholars at home and broad laying the solid foundation of future study on ChuanShan theory to shape a dependent discipline.We can have a comprehensive understanding of the general situation of Chuan Shan Study Group according to the research on the cause of establishing, activities, political inclination, and academic thought of it, affirming Liu Renxi and Chuan Shan Study Group’s historical contributions of spreading Chuan Shan theory. Let us know the older generations how to face reality, respond to reality, benefiting the spread of Hunan culture.There are five parts in this dissertation including the introduction, three chapters and the conclusion.In the introduction, the author explained the situations of the research on Chuan Shan Study Group, and then showed the train of thought and methods.Chapter one, the author analyzes the historical background of the establishment of Chuan Shan Study Group.Chapter two explores the establishment of Chuan Shan Study Group and their activities.Chapter third elaborates the ideological centre of Chuan Shan Study Group---Chuan Shan Journal.In the conclusion, the author makes a summary of Chuan Shan Study Group, and indicates the characteristics of Chuan Shan Study Group.
