The Color Application Research Of The Interface Design In The University Websites

Universities and colleges are the forward position of "network" development in China society. Nowadays, as the base of network publicity, university websites have been broken away from the era of purely pursuing functions. For the website design, not only should focus on how to put the effective information onto the websites but also need to pay attention to the variety vision of customers. Color is one of the most important elements in the art design. Good color scheme can provide strong visual impacting and artistic appealing which could be impressive to customers. It is necessary to research on the match colors of interface design of university website.This paper starts from the development of website interface design, relevant knowledge about visual display terminal, basic theories of color design, feature of digital color system and so forth. This paper analyzes the existing problems of the present university websites interface color design after going through hundreds of the materials about university website design both domestic and abroad. It is considered that "rigid"、"pink"、"mess" and "grey" would be the main common problems in the university website design. At the same time, it provides the design approach in terms of university image positioning, user’s cultural background, the specificity and quickness of information conveying, necessary of university websites, color format and so on. Hope to convey the vision information of university web interface exactly, clearly and quickly by the proper color application. Lastly, the paper based on the example of <Harbin University>. expounded the author’s own design experiences in the web interface main color, web interface elements, etc. And also there will be some statement in the last part about the problems of color designing and the choice of post-processing.
