Study On Zhi Yu’s Life And His Collection Of Articles

Zhi Yu is an influential writer who lived during the Western Jin Dynasty. The study on Zhi Yu is not that sufficient because most of his writings had lost. Based on previous research results, this paper focus on Zhi Yu’s life and his representative work—Collection of Articles. This paper is divided into two parts.The first part is "Zhi Yu’s life", this part mainly talks about Zhi Yu’s extraction and important events during his lifetime. Based on Zhi Yu’s Si You Fu, we know that his extraction can trace back to the yellow emperor period. This part will not talk every aspect of Zhi Yu’s life, we will focus on five important events during his lifetime, they are:Zhi Yu learn from Huang Fu Mi; Zhi Yu become an official and Factional strife of Western Jin Dynasty; the connection between Zhi Yu and San Du Fu; Zhi Yu’s comments on ritual; Zhi Yu’s representative work--Collection Of Articles.The second part is "study on Collection Of Articles". This part is divided into four quarters:the first quarter focus on the relations of Collection Of Articles, Schools of Essay and Wen Zhang Zhi; the second quarter talks about the compilation background of Collection Of Articles, which includes the number of corpus has greatly increased, the promotion of the position of literature, the development of the bibliography style classification and the ethos of imitation and being an pundit; the third quarter mainly talks about the style of Collection Of Articles; the fourth quarter talks about the influence of Collection of Articles.
