| As the origin of Chinese traditional set of culture, Eight Views of Xiaoxiang has it rich in cultural connotation. The paintings and poems of it have both natural landscape and cultural landscape in content and show strong cultural features of Shi. This unique art phenomenon also has a deep influence on Japanese landscape and garden art. However, Japan created a unique Eight Views Art System which becomes one of Japanese national core culture in accordance with their geographical environment and local culture in the long course of history heritage and development.This article starts with Japanese and Chinese Eight Views painting, analyses the influence of Eight Views of Xiaoxiang painting on the Japanese landscape and dry garden from multiple perspectives by research methods of comparative subject, iconography subject and constitution study. This article can be divided into five chapters, developing in logic order of research export, theoretical origins, learn and absorption and reverse inspiration.First of all, the paper uses the influence of Eight Views of Xiaoxiang paintings on Japanese Eight Views painting as a breakthrough point, combs and summarizes the resemblance between the two in Zen culture, the word order rules, drawing themes and aesthetic taste.Secondly, the paper takes Japanese Eight Views as object of study, proposes the similarity between Japanese Eight Views and Eight Views of Xiaoxiang in terms of the zoning, locating and deciding the view and naming patterns while highlights the similarity between the two parts. It takes as main lines the construction of painting space layout and three-dimensional display of deep meaning of picture with the landscape example of Eight Views of Fangjin, demonstrates the theory that Japanese landscape learned from Chinese Eight Views, aims to learn from the Japanese approach of view borrowing as the reference to the development of Eight Views of Xiaoxiang.Thirdly, it expands and discusses what the Japanese dry garden landscape absorbs from Chinese and Japanese Eight Views painting comprehensively and deeply. This part studies the rise and garden characteristics of Japanese Karesansui garden and the case of Ryoan-ji Garden in Kyoto, analyses its philosophical artistic conception, dry landscape space, master-slave layout and visual composition, and reveals the brief, affectation, mysterious and intangible artistic temperament in the Japanese garden landscaping which has strong cultural traditions and national identities.Finally, This paper analyses three aspects, including the drawing to evolve, the view to extend receives and the dry garden to innovate. This study by understanding the achievements has got in the cultural research and creation of Japan Eight Views, simultaneously learning from Japan the research method of absorbing and transforming foreign cultures, in order to get some inspirations for the excavation and the development of Eight Views of Xiaoxiang and it also establishes the unique cultural landscape identification of Hunan. It is aimed at restoration and reconstruction of the landscape corridor of the Eight Views of Xiaoxiang by reproducing elements of the traditional landscape painting. |
