In the trend of urbanization, whether rich or poor. every nation is matching its own step in his own attitude. urbanization and migrants have been the focus of academia. As a particular phenomeon in history, migrants who works in the city undoubtly have perfound and deep influence on social and economic systems and life-style.In the process of urbanization, all kinds of socialcontradictions which mainly live on migrans. there are many similarities between chinese and korean migrants, so it is with the literary work on migrants. Comparing the works from two countrys, one can not only find the detaied information but also observe the drawbacks in urbanization. Owning to such a consideration, This thesis picked luoweizhang’s work hometown lies far and huangxiying’s neighbour as subjects for study. the methodology which is Parallel Study in Comparative literature shall be applied to make analysis from the viewpoint of space and identity. The thesis consists of four parts.The first chapter makes a brief introduction which focus on the purpose of this thesis, the study object, methodology, and literature review.The second chapter reveals the space of city-utopia and reality. the analysis shall be made on the imagination of city-utopia first. And then depicts the wounds experenced in the space of reality. At last, it shall discuss the city image expressed in the works between utopia and reality as well as the dark space that represents the subjectivity of migratns. They are nothing but intruders that are marginalized people.Th third chapter mainly dicuss the problem cuased by identity loss and self discovery. The setbacks they sufferd and its consequent identity trouble shall be discussed first. The awkward position triggered the crisis of identity. then,the process of self descovery after losing self shall be talked about. In order to acquire the stablity in terms of the sense of belonging, they need to rediscover themselves. In the final part of this chapter, the tragidies cuased by indentity crisis shall be discussed.The forth chaper draws a conclusion. By analyzing the image of city-utopia expressed in this two works as well as the the migrants identification, the cause of such problem shall be traced so as to call upon that special considerations shall be paid to the weak groups...
