The study using the non-participant observation method and the situation of the children free activities in the top class in a kindergarten and taking three neglected children and two popular children as objects in freedom situation in the top of Hangzhou H kindergarten describes a case study. The paper takes event sampling method to collect data and quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of information, we can learn about neglected children peer interaction interactive behaviors. The text gives that neglected children’speech characteristics, behavioral characteristics and emotional characteristics are as follows:1. Neglected children are used to communicate in the passive position. Their more use words types are joint and neglect and the verbal communication strategies is avoidance strategy;2. Neglected children are less initiative in the way participating in activities they have the passive attitude of peer interaction. They always play lonely away from other peers or watching other children playing as spectator. When inference factors arise, neglected children are able to ignore it or continue to do their jobs. They have poor peer interaction capabilities with peers, they can play by the rules, but they can’t play initiative and can be unable to take an appropriate method to join a particular activity;3. When the neglected children’demands are not meet, they can’t adopt appropriate methods to meet their requirements but cry or choose other activities and barely destruct other children’s activities. When they counter setbacks, a small number of them will be unpleasant or cry silently, but most of them calm to deal with. The type of child usually has no change of expressions in face when they are happy or unhappy. Sometimes the neglected children can show a normal mood and can take the emotion remission spontaneously with the disappearance of these happy or unhappy scenarios.The main causes forming the children’neglected position come from children’ own characteristics, parents and teachers. Specifically, the neglect of children from teacher and the wrong way of bringing up children take the important responsibility to the children’neglected situation. In addition, the appearance, temperament, social cognition and behavior characteristics can also affect their social status in the class..At last, Based on analyzing and summarizing the reason of children’neglected position, researcher propose some operational recommendations for teacher and parents who should pay more attention to the neglected children, create more communication opportunities and set interactive environment for these children.
