Qomolangma Nature Reserve as the most mysterious ethnic minority plateaueco-tourism area in china, it has abundant natural ecological landscape, humanisticheritage resources and unique natural and cultural landscape which contains a lot ofprecious historical culture connotation and scientific research art value, but due to theparticularity of its regional location and natural conditions, because of long timedisrepair and man-made reasons, a number of cultural heritage resources has beendamaged in different degrees, and some non-material cultural heritage with theage-old has been difficult to trace or lost. At the same time, Nature Reserve areaextent is very large which made the most landscape and cultural heritage resources faraway from each other and relative independent, this condition is unfavorable for theprotection and enjoyment of tourism resources. With the spring up of ecologicaltourism in China, the increased tourism development activities began to obviouslycontradict with this sensitive complex ecological environment. How to promoteecological tourism activities in the premise of protection, in addition guard and inheritthe cultural heritage in this region what need to urgent explore in this paper.This paper will bring culture heritage corridor this linear landscape protectionmeasures used into Qomolangma Nature Reserve, the cultural heritage corridorconcept introduced by the United States, however, it was often applied to theprotection of the Channel, the Silk Road and Tea-Horse Road such famous historicaland cultural heritage in our country, and it as a method rarely applied to a large areaof tourism planning and protective development. The author tries to use this methodto integrate those isolated heritage resources in the Qomolangma Nature Reserve area,show the typicality and diversity of resources, through the relationship between thedifferent heritages to prospect the value of the heritage, ensure that heritage resources to get effective protection and inheritance, at the same time it guide tourismdevelopment planning in the science way, finally it would establish one area whatcollection ecological culture protection and leisure tourism, science and art aesthetic,tourism and economic development and other multi-function.This paper is based on previously researcher survey results of the culturalheritage resources of the Mount Qomolangma Nature Reserve, through summary andresearch extensive background data, analysis heritage node one by one, according tothe Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage Convention conductclassification of Qomolangma Nature Reserve cultural heritage resources. In thepremise full analysis of the distribution law of the existing cultural heritage resources,building suitable cultural heritage corridor for this area which includes materialculture heritage corridor, intangible cultural heritage corridor and theme cultureheritage corridor three aspects. Constructive researches are mainly fromenvironmental and social economy levels make quantitatively estimates and analysis,Preliminary estimate out of the each figure tourism carrying capacity, ensure in thepremise of protection of natural ecologic when establishment of the corridor, as far aspossible to minimum the influence of the environment. The last is analysis andquantitative evaluation of cultural heritage corridor tourist value, and make scientificevaluation to effectively protect and rationally develop and utilize heritage tourismresource, it also provides new method and basis for linear heritage protection anddevelopment. The result of this paper is that establishing cultural heritage corridor ispractical in Qomolangma Nature Reserve, what are not only conformed to the localcomplex vulnerable ecological environment needs and protect the culture heritage, butalso realize ecological tourism development activity which provide a new method andnew perspectives for the future development of the area, it could promote the tourismindustry in prosperity and economic development, There is a certain reality forsignificance promoting regional tourism planning and development work in thelarge-scale of future.
