In short form, methodology dictate end results.During World War II，the public become more and more unsatisfied with anddisappointed at the reality singular shaped by rationalism, sparking a wave ofrethinking on “rationality” and “irrationality”. It lead to belief that, rationalism,because of its inherit arrogance and egotism, tends to eventually depart fromtruth and run into insanity. It is always the irrationality, as a source of interfere,mocking at the arrogant, proud, egoistic rationality, trying to balance sentimentand consciousness of the world. As a result, studies flourished to reassess theconcepts and behaviors of rationality and irrationality. Great minds includingHeinrich Floris Schopenhauer，Friedrich Nietzsche，Michel Foucault，FrancoisLyotard，Louis Deleuze, from their seperate perspectives, led the tides ofstudies on the new method of questioning the nature. The result are mostapparent in field of sociology, philosophy, literary creation and criticism, due tothe relevance and maturity of studies. Morden art is under direct influence, asa result, various art forms are influenced by and developed upon.In the irrational aesthetic theory and artistic practice, the various factions andindividuals advocating complex disorder, in which the main conflict focused onthe interpretation of the non-rational concept of the theoretical system and thespecific convergence between creative practice。 Rather than rational theoretical system in the visual arts presentation is more directly across thepractice process, describe the final effect analysis.Above all, within all the “irrational” field of exploring aesthetic thinking, it iscrucial to connect the practice and aesthetic theory when doing research onthe factors of different psychological experience and feelings of a visualpracticing artist when he is using material and creating works. Thereafter, thisarticle will start with analyzing the painting artist behaviors before they startcreating (experience) and during the creating stage by using material(experiment) on the prerequisite of carefully using the concept of “irrational”;meanwhile, a comparison will be made between the art work making processand the irrational theory system. These will be the main research objectives.The aim of the research is to make the irrational theory in the branch of visualart to get closer with the art practice activities, rather than surpassing thepractice and losing the final effect.
