Research Of Application Of Emotional Elements On Visual Guidance System

Visual guide system is multidisciplinary intersection of traditional environment art design, visual communication design and industrial design. In modern city life, the information request is so high, which is related with human and environment. Visual guide system is a set of signals for guiding, sign, description, instructions.Now days, The rapid development of world diversity has promoted the humanization design.From the aspects of emotion, massive environmental art design, industrial design, and visual communication design add harmonious and beautiful bright to the whole society. By integrating various subsystems, improving space usage efficiency, as the fundamental visual guidance system, breaks the original function. It is convenient to integrate and organize the space environment information by integrating emotional elements according to the difference of modern commercial establishments, public facilities, city traffic, community and other public conditions. From the design of the international community, the research of the guidance design in China is still immature, so is the application of the VGS, which somehow is treated as a by-product, not mentioning to be a shinning point in design. Generally speaking, the application of VGS is not designed very well, and even the application of emotional elements are barely mentioned in design.The mere functionality has been far from enough. It is the important to link of the layout of the environment and important component to create a style and to shape the culture. In this paper, firstly, Stating with the concept and origin of emotional elements and visual guide system, the relationship of emotional elements and visual guide system has been sorted out by combining the theory and practice. Secondly, to explore the design principles, methods and examples of the application for affective elements in different spatial forms of visual guide system. Finally, based on the above contents, The development and innovation of the visual guide system has been discussed and looked forward.
