Chinese Contemporary Family Ethic Of The Light Pattern

Since1990s, the family ethic serials as a new serial type came tothe screen. The Chinese serial Ke Wang(Desire) broadcasted in1990showed that the Chinese ethic serials was becoming popular. Thefamily ethic serials had gotten prosperous during the last20years.The reason that it is welcomed by everyone is that it is close to dailylife and focuses on normal people. Except for the reason mentionedabove, the family ethic serials has several rules which concern aboutthe themes, characters and the plot. This thesis is mainly about therules.Mode, which shows the mature of a domain, is the standard ofsomething. It is usually combined with popularity and industrializes.When a serial gets mature, it will focus on and become certain modes,such as theme drama, Spy drama, Youth idol and family ethic serials,etc. During20years development, the family ethic serials havealready found their own modes which are accepted by people. Thisthesis analyses the elements of family ethic serials and indicate thecommon modes of family ethic serials.This thesis contains four parts. Introduction described the originand mainly discussed the meanings, purpose, methods and presentresearch statutes of family ethic serials. Chapter one summarized thethemes of family ethic serials and gave out three modes. Chapter twofound the elements of characters and also gave three modes. Chapterthree got the essential factor of plots and presented the mode of plots.The last part proved that all the modes of themes, characters and plotshave stability by using Ke Wang(Desire) and Puberty Hit the Menopause. In conclusion, it gave a summary of all the thesis andlooked forward to the future of the family ethic serials’ mode.
