The Correlative Study Between2-3Years Old Children’s Sympathy And Prosocial Behavior

Prosocial behaviors is a beneficial to others or social behavior, including sharing, helping, comfort, cooperation and helping others. It often used in the same sense as "positive social behavior","aid behavior","altruistic behavior".It is widely recognized that scholars from domestic and foreign who did a lot of research found that prosocial behaviors by various factors, especially sympathy for prosocial behaviors’ influence in recent years. Sympathy is a part of empathy which besides can triggers sympathy, but also can trigger self-care, self-centered emotional responses, namely personal pain who difficult to trigger individual prosocial behaviors. Therefore, with positive social functions in the prosocial behaviors, and the relationship of sympathy is more obvious. However, the measurement for sympathy in past years for excessive concentration in the victim’s obvious clues on reading emotions, especially for domestic no clues of sympathy that without emotion. So, this study aims to the victim under the precondition of no emotional clues, discuss sympathy and prosocial behaviors relationship. The completion of this study can enrich people’s compassion and prosocial behaviors theory of development, but also for parents and children education worker on the children socially in education provides some suggestions.The research methods refer to experiment.2to3-year-old children are taken at random from Dalian city are32,16in harm condition and16in neutral condition. Sympathy situations is the first, second is prosocial situation. Finally on children’s sympathy and prosocial behaviors scrutinized processing, and the damage group and neutral difference inspection group process.The results of this study showed that:1.2-3years old children’s sympathy and prosocial behaviors were significant correlated. Sympathy situation’s patterns of looks and quality of looks were also significant correlated. That is to say, in the victim’s no emotional clues,2-3years old children can still sympathize with her, also with prosocial behaviors.2. The harm condition and neutral condition had a significant difference, that is, after sympathy situation children showed more prosocial behaviors to victim. The result of T-test showed that:the harm condition and neutral condition in patterns of looks are significant difference, as same as the quality of looks and proscical behaviors.
