The topic of this thesis examine the memory writing of the second generation of mainlanders in Taiwan. The works of Hao YuXiang and Zhang HuiCheng which were in the forms of discourse memory, autobiographical memory and trauma writing forms the main three references. Others used and analysed the works of writers and derived that the main motives of their works were discourse on memory, memory narrative and traumatic writing which were of different styles of writing.Chapter one is the introduction, divided into "research motive and purpose","research range","document probe" and the study approach and chapter structure.Chapter two-The memory of the community and their language. This sentence means community. This chapter uses Michel Foucault discourse as it’s starting point to examine the works of both writers which were Ni lu and Li Bie Fu, which forms the discourse on the community’s memory of the other provinces and the hidden motive of writing these books.Chapter Three-The Narrative and Autobiographical Memory.This chapter is base on autobiographical memory. It examines the three books which were Ni lu, Wen Quan,Le Bie Fu which were autobiographies memory’s in narrative structure, narrative style and function of memory writing.Chapter Four-The matters of Life and Trauma Writing. This chapter bases on Freud Sigmund’s trauma narrative and the memory of trauma as starting point. Explaining Hao Yu-Xiang’s books, Ni Lu and Wen Quan which was the representation of the trauma writing and the trauma healing, explaining the relationship between them.Chapter Five-In conclusion, raising comments on the narrative style and discourse contents of the books of both writers。...
