Reading, Song, Sing And Sang In Chinese Traditional Music Solfeggio

Reading, Song, Sing and Sang, originated from intonate, is the way of studying in ancient Chinese education system composed by literature, poems and music. In music, it has always been developing with the clue of the Chinese Character, evolved from the Reading sound by monosyllable to the Sing by a tune, with total elements including singing the melody, rhythm, pitch, respiratory, emotion gradually released on the performance in the Chinese Character. The " Chinese Character as the root" thought, come down in one continuous line with Chinese traditional music in "speaking according to the Chinese Character" and "creating sound according to the Chinese Character", imposed a certain effect on traditional Chinese music in the rhythm, time characteristics of pitch performance and style.This paper will research on Reading, Song, Sing and Sang from the aspect of solfeggio discipline, applying the "Chinese Character as the root" thought to the Chinese traditional music solfeggio pitch training, rhythm training and performance style. I look forward to provide a meaningful reference to construct the mode of Chinese traditional music Solfeggio teaching by this Paper.
