Because of the economic potentiality of China developincreasingly and she has increasing influence over the whole world,many people whose mother language is English became interested inChinese. But it’s quite different between Chinese and English, thismade the students whose mother language is English feel hard to learnChinese.I chose the <Holy bible> which is known by everybody inEnglish-speaking counties as the research subject, compare two kinds oflanguage English and Chinese in ‘tense’ and’aspect’,find out thedifferences and similarities. At first, it presents the language constructionsof English and Chinese in this paper, points out the basic reasons whichcause the differences between the two languages. And then according to the grammar category, it tells the characteristics about two languages in‘tense’ and ‘aspect’. At second, chosen the example sentences about‘tense’‘aspect’ from the <Holy bible>, compare the English and Chinese,summarized the rulers of ‘tense’ and ‘aspect’ of Chinese.
