The Research Between Neo-Confucianism And The Literature Thought&Creation Of Song Lian

Song Lian, in the literature history of early Ming dynasty, has been regarded as the first person among all the most dominated figures to the official literature. The paper is divided into four parts to discuss his Confucianism, his literature thoughts and his works.The first part discuss the admiration for Zhu Xi in Song’s Confucianism and the absorption in Chen Liang’s thought, which based on the relationship between Song Lian and his teachers and his academic origin. Song Lian learned Confucianism from Wen Ren Meng Ji. Wu Lai. Huang Jin. Liu Guan. He praised Zhu Xi highly, be seen as the later student of Zhu Xi. Meanwhile, he was influenced by Chen’s thought. In the content, Song’s Confucianism formed by the heart of heaven and earth with the heart of individuals put forward the two points of "Cherish Intention" and "Raise Personality", while base on Zhu Xi’s thought. Song Lian put forward two points of "Cherish Intention" and "Raise Personality" in Neo-Confucianism. Song Lian thought they are the right ways for those who hope to learn the ultimate principles. He pointed that the literature was the materialization of the principle and learned the literature should follow the same way to the principle. Thus, he restored ancient ways and raised personality in literature thoughts, while blended the utility thought into the two points.The second part is an introduction of Song’s literature thought and the essay conception. Song’s literature thought is contacted with his Confucianism. The most important content of his thought was not only "Cherish Intention" and Restore ancient ways, but also "Raise Personality" and brought up talent. Song put forward the conception of Zhi essay and application essay, emphasized "Cherish Intention" to learn the principle and restored ancient ways in creation, the purpose of which were set up the moral quality and blended the utility.The third part is a discussion about the style of Song’s essay and feature. The number of Song’s essay is big, the content of which were complex. It chose the three style essay:biography, fable, preface and postscript. These creations were contacted with his Confucianism which show his literature thought. The features of his essay were the pure thoughts, the heaven content and the tremendous momentum.The fourth part is a study on Song’s poetry. He put forward the five kinds of beauty of poetry to show his conception. Song emphasized "Raise Personality" in poetry that the poet should creation the poetry by brought up characters, and paid attention to the content of the poetry which is formed by the principle. Then introduce the three style of poetry which contacted closely with his Confucianism.
