Tattoo In Visual Communication Design Analysis

Along with the development and progress of social, tattoo is preferred or loathed by different people for its special attribute. The difference of district and culture create various of tattoo culture which is not only decorative beauty of body, but also spiritual demand for objective world.We will understand the social, product and daily life environment from the tattoo culture of primitive communes, and we also could find the thought, value and world outlook in tattoo of early stage. After thousands of years, the development of tattoo followed the alternately change of history and culture, however, times didn’t block the tattoo culture, instead that it impelled the multiformity of the tattoo design. In recent years, the new tattoo style goes back to the sight of normal people.The normal purpose of tattoo is not religious meaning any more, the further meaning is self-expression, personality and beautify, and show one’s aesthetic taste. The style of tattoo is also a little bit changed in recent years, and it combines different school or form of art. The spiritual meaning created the visual feast which used in different art fields. For these reasons, tattoo could be a new research topic which mix special culture of thousands years history and design philosophy.This paper discusses multi angle of tattoo culture, especially the design of tattoo. Chapter one is introduction, which analyzed general situation of tattoo. Chapter two introduced the concept, history and function of tattoo. Chapter three is research the relation of the design and connotation. Chapter four is mainly discuss the inner connecting of the design and the emotion which reflect from the graphic design. Chapter five discuss the influence in people’s normal life which separate from the positive and the negative influence in the spirit of different person who accept tattoo or not. The end of this paper will make a summaries which will give this paper a satisfactory conclusion.
