Along with the computer technology is widely used in various fields of scientificresearch, the study about the frequency of characters develops from nothing, and the scope isalso gradually expanded, relates to language learning, language teaching, psychology, Chineseinformation processing and other fields. Based on the first200ancient and modern frequencyChinese Characters, this paper analyzes its variation about the frequency of utilization and themain reasons. The paper will be divided into two parts, one part discusses the reasons based on the first200modern frequency Chinese Characters, the other part discusses the reasons based on thefirst200ancient frequency Chinese characters. In the first part, the main reason about thesequence changes More than10000is that Chinese characters are simplified. The reasonsabout the sequence changes between3,000and10,000are as follows. Modern Chinese usesimplified Chinese to record the language.Although this part of the simplified Chinesealready exists in ancient times, they began to be widely used after the middle ages andthe complex form are Still widely used in all kinds of literatures. A considerable part ofsimplified Chinese characters in the sequence changes between200and3,000has nodifference between simplified and traditional. The reasons of these which has differencebetween simplified and traditional are basically the same. The reason of the sequence changesbetween200and3,000which has no difference between simplified and traditional lies in twoaspects. On the one hand these characters are commonly used in ancient and modern Chinese,on the other hand these characters are affected by the internal factors and external factors oflanguage. The sequence changes of the simplified Chinese characters between200and (-200)are98.These98characters written form is consistent from the ancient to the modern andthese characters mostly belong to the basic vocabulary. This reflects the inheritance ofChinese Characters. The sequence changes between200and3,000in the first200ancient frequency Chinese Characters is mainly because of Political, economic, cultural andlanguage internal factors and so on. The reasons of the sequence changes between200–(-200)are the same of the sequence changes between200–(-200) which is based on the first200modern frequency Chinese Characters.
