| The landscape pattern cassock in the Dunhuang Grottoes is the production of the combination of Chinese Buddhist art and the art of traditional Chinese painting. This article aims to analyze landscape pattern cassock in Mogao and Yulin Grottoes based on co mprenensive collection of landscape pattern cassock in Dunhuang area, combining with Buddhist Historiography, Dunhuang documents and history of Chinese landscape painting. The article exp lains the history of landscape pattern cassock, explores the the historical background from the rel ationship between landscape aesthetic with Buddhism, the Buddhist precepts, Dunhuang docume nts and the function of grotto four aspects. The article focus on reviewing the history of the Centr al Plains landscape painting, and then analyzes the development of ancient art style of landscape painting of Dunhuang Grottoes in different periods,analyze the landscape pattern cassock in Dun huang Grottoes from several perspectives such as the composition, modeling and color-imparting, painting techniques,styles and the significance of landscape pattern cassock in the Dunhuang G rotto. Then, concludes the progressive development and clarify the origin, the rise and fall,style s and the significance of landscape pattern cassock in the Dunhuang Grotto. |
