A Research On Jiang Tianyi

Jiang Tianyi(1602-1645), renamed Jiang Wenshi or Zhian,was born in Shexian county. He was a student living in the late Ming Dynasty. In spite of poor environment,Jiang Tianyi was studying hard from childhood and also becoming a person full of uprightness and integrity. In1645,he helped his teacher Jinsheng resist the Qing Dynasty, later in October8,they sacrificed in Nanjing Tongji. As a hero resisting Qing Dynasty,his deeds were well-known by many people. He also left a famous work named “Jiang Zhian’s Collection”. This thesis studies Jiang Tianyi from his life experiences, travelling and friends,his writings and the values of “Jiang Zhian’s Collection”. This paper contains the following parts spicificly:The first part, introduction, briefly narrates the theme purpose, the cause and significance, the present researching situation and so on. Besides, the author expounds the innovation of this paper and explicates the study methods.Chapter one talks about Jiang Tianyi’s extraction,lifetime experiences and works.Chapter Two teases out Jiang Tianyi’s experiences of making friends and the Literature association he took part in Jiang Tianyi had a lot of friends in his life,they all have good faith, virtue and patriotism.Chapter Three, mainly study the main contents of "Jiang Zhian’s Collection", includ the biographical article,preface article and letter article.Chapter Four, discuss the value of “Jiang Zhian’s Collection”. His work involved all kinds of historical and cultural materials to the Ming Dynasty society.Firstly, discuss the historical value,.Second, the thought value.The conclusion part summarizes the significance,characteristics and innovations of this article. Also,it points out some shortcomings and defects that need to be researched. At the end of the paper,with Jiang Tianyi’s biographical chronology.
