Local To Global

This thesis use an idea called " local to global ", which means use a part of books asa entry point, then expand to the whole situation of book design. It emphasize theeffectiveness of "local" in "global". It is a problem of "early or late", a problem of"subversion", a problem of "order", and it is also a effective innovation.This cognition which I get from "Fishbone Diagram" looks like common, but it isfantasy even let me have a interest in study it.The key point of this thesis has three parts: First, the first part elaborate the local ofbooks are exist, this part finds a way to classify local part of books clearly and makespeople have a more profound understanding for local on the books, let the "choice" play arole then design the whole part of local of books. Second, the second part mainlyintroduces how do we select parts of books and how do we design the local of books. Wecan find the new visual angle which is interest points by introducing modes of thought ofchoosing books local way and books local design method. Third, the third part mainlydiscusses the relationship between global design of books with specific roles of bookslocal, elaborating the application principle and representation methods by using the "Fishbone Diagram ", it makes the local through books design and create a whole artisticimage.Finally, we can find more design perspective, richer design language and Moreexpressive style of art creation based on an idea that from local part of books into booksdesign.
