A Study On The Syntagmatic Combinations And Historical Origin Of "Zou" In Modern Chinese

This paper is based on the literature works with much vernacular languagefor almost half a century. It gives a limited inspection over the “zou” in the corpus,and analyzes the syntactic relation and structural function involved. Besides, itexplores the historical origin of “zou” through a diachronic trace.This paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter one deals with the introduction explaining the reason of selectingthe topic, and accounts for the purpose of research, method of research as well asvalue of research and so on.Chapter two and chapter three form the text part. The practical use case of“zou” in the corpus is investigated and syntagmatic relation has also beenanalyzed.Chapter three deals with the historical origin of various structures of “zou”and summarizes the systematic attributes of “zou”.Chapter four is the conclusion part, the theoretical knowledge has beenproposed and the shortages as well as struggling direction has also been given.
