The Supporting Role Of Speech Recognition And Machine Translation In Interpretation

Nowadays, interpretation is playing a more and more important role all over the world.Interpreter becomes a hot job as a result of this. However, interpretation is a difficult workwhich costs time and energy. In order to improve the quality and speed of interpretation,speech recognition and machine translation occur in this area. This report focuses on speechrecognition and machine translation. In the report, the feasibility of speech recognition andmachine translation will be discussed. The supporting role of speech recognition and machinetranslation has been studied. Two experiments about speech recognition and machinetranslation have been conducted. After this, the future of these two tools has been prospected.
