Since the mid-twentieth century, many African countries have achieved political independence and economic development, but those countries who still be rejected as "East" or "he" by the dominant discourse West countries for their disadvantaged discourse. So,many African countries have a strong desire to get rid the potential domination of cultural advantage of Western, and engage in a dialogue with Western on equal status, in this complex situation, post-colonial theory was born.Chinua Achebe whose creation work began before the liberation of Nigeria and still writing now, with the patriotic enthusiasm, by use of sincere and deep writing, he describes the practice of Nigeria against colonial aggression for us.He is a pioneer of the post colonial theory, and also is a pioneer of post-colonial literature. Many puzzling problems will get reasonable explanation, if we put his novel in post colonial cultural and consider the request of the political and cultural dialogue. In this paper, through depth reading of the post-colonial theory and article, and integrated the use of sociology, feminist theory, to explore Achebe’s contribution to post-colonial theory, to analysis the way of against colonialism in the novel, to understand his creative thinking and restore a true comprehensive Chinua Achebe.The full composed by introduction part, main text three chapters and conclusion part.In the Introduction, the paper gives a overview of Achebe’s life and creation, and his five novels content. It also gives a synthesis of Achebe’s research status at home and abroad, and the purposes and methods of this thesis. In addition, this part combs the point of view of the important theorists of postcolonial theory used in this paper, and the innovation of this paper.The main text consists of three chapters. The first part takes the " Things Fall Apart " and " Arrow of God " as model to explore Achebe’s creative practice of against colonialism through the nationalism in his early creation work. Adopting nationalism in Said’s book Oriental Studies and the inverse write empire strategy in Bill Asch Croft’s book "inverse write Empire" as a tool, give a analysis of Achebe’s novel. Achebe wants to restore the dignity of Africans and also want to wake the tribe’s against consciousness by use the narrative way in his novel. However, taking the nativism as the only way to resist colonial aggression, does not work.The second part, on the basis of" No Longer at Ease ", to study the young Obi of Ibo tribe who study in UK (He is also Aogongkawo’s grandson in" Things Fall Apart "), under the east-west cultural integration background, from the perspective of learning the western colonial, discussed the practice of save the nation. By using of Homi K. Bhabha’s hybridization and fusion theory, we analysis Obi’s acceptance of Western culture and the search for self-identity practice. White power, and the Western education have Homi K. Bhabha’s assimilated the Africans whose resistant to the West use the Western weapons always seemed to be somewhat weak.The third part, based on the two novel," A Man of the People "and" Anthills of the Savannah " which both based on the perspective of political, uses Mr Homi K. Bhabha’s simulation theory, analyzes the realationship among the replication of African politics of the West and political modernization and post-colonial, and then uses Spivak’s postcolonial feminist theory to explore the context of modern Western society,"he"(Oriental society) the "other"(as opposed to patriarchy) the survival status of African womento, to explore Achebe’s feminist ideas. The return of the marxism, lets Achebe saw the dawn, and find a new way--hange human nature and the unity of the masses.Epilogue, sums up the significance of Achebe’s post-colonial literature, and postcolonial theory, ideology and later theorists, and the positive significance of anti-colonial way explored. Achebe’s Creation is successful, it increases the content of postcolonial literary and widens the research direction of postcolonial literature, its practical experience tacklings a colonial rule, and gives a alert to former colonial countries around the world that the concealment of the colonial invasion of colonial culture and corrosion resistance, in additional the culture resistance and spirit of struggle strategy also has the profound enlightenment significance.
