The tectonic movement was strong in its rregional which is in a favorable ore-forming conditions and rich in mineral resources.Much research had been done by the predecessors,the result shows that there is a close relationship between mineralization and structure.But the relationshipin between tectonic movement and mineralization, especially the ore-forming tectonic background is unclear.Baoshan block experienced the stage from Proterozoic basement formation, original Paleozoic Tethys ocean basin forrmation in late Neoproterozoic and Paleozoic, expansion of the Paleo-Tethys ocean basin in Carboniferous and Permian, Basin mountain transformation in late Triassic and early Jurassic to intracontinental orogeny in Cenozoic. Structural deformation most developed with S-N tectonic which is caused by EW-trending, the north and south to deformation continue to develop wih strike-slip movement of Lancang River fracture.Structure of mining area is very well-developed with strong tectonic deformation of faults and joints, the fractures show of different periods of kinematics, mechanics characteristics.thus can provides conditions for the study tectonic stress and tectonic background.The mining area has four groups of faults of North South, North East, North West and East West. Its mechanical properties shows3stages of pressure, pressure and torsion indicates transformation of mining area by early Triassic Basin three demise of collision orogenic,and Himalayan intracontinental orogenic movement.The orebody shape and distribution has the EN-ECHELON structure characteristics, mineralization occurred in the second periods of tectonic stages of twist compression stage, Metallogenic tectonic deformation features are identical to the kiln River fault in the middle of Lancang River fault. And according to the ore-forming age results,believe that the tectonic deformation are controlled by the Lancang River fracture strike-slip movement under the mechanism of the new generation India-the Asian continent oblique collision. Metallogenic material originate from remelting type granite by crust remelting caused by the Large scale strike-slip.Regional tectonic movement plays an important role in in the deposit formation history, Pan-African-Tethys tectonic transformation control of Cambrian-Ordovician sedimentary strata which provides ore-masking lithology combination for he migration of ore-forming fluids;the Indosinian-Himalayan tectonic movement controls the tectonic deformation, formed a favorable ore conducting ore-bearing structure combination; concealed granite rock are fromed during Lancang River strike-slip in Himalayan period, provides the ore source bed and fluid transport carrier for mineralization activity.
