The Minority Game is a physicist’s attempt to explain market behavior by the interaction between traders. Proposed by Physicist Challet and Yi-Cheng Zhang in1997.With a minimal set of ingredients and drastic assumptions, this model reproduces market ecology among different types of traders. Its emphasis is on speculative trading and information flow The Minority Game (MG) which is the mathematical formulation of "El Farol Bar" problem considered by Brian Arthur. The idea behind this problem is the study of how many individuals may reach a collective solution to a problem under adaptation of each one’s expectations about the future. For instance how to decide the road will not congestion when in the crossway can use Minority Game to explain; In the stock market, brokers can get benefits when he was buying and majority was sell in the same time, and vice versa. In the stock market, people often based on past experience to decided their future strategy. In this case, the stock market game can also use a Minority Game to explain.As Minority Game model can simulate competitive system under limited resources, although it is simple in structure but can be very complicated, is the effective tools to understanding how individual agent cooperate in a real market.The complex network is the developed rapidly in recent years. From the Internet to WWW, from telephone networks to traffic networks, from scientists cooperate networks to all kinds of social network, our life has tied to the Internet. Now the complex networks include personalized recommendation, link prediction, spread dynamics, etc. In the provide better recommendations, predict the network breakdown, analyses user behavior, and predict and prevent viruses and rumor spreading, etc.In order to keep the original Minority Game model its simplicity, consider each agent in the game not communicates with others, but in the real world, agents are not isolated, so in recent years Minority Game and complex networks theory consider to combine to simulate the real market.Small world network is one of the most important properties of complex networks. The theory of small world network is introduced into Minority Game, which is very important to agents communicate, find hidden rule, and improve agents performance. The paper reviews the minority game, and tries to draw a minority game which agents connected in a small world networks. The numerical results show that the system in small world networks performs better than original Minority Game.
