China is one of the countries which karst developed intensely, and karst area takes about1/3of China’s total territorial area. Since Karst ground water resources are buried deeply with large capacity storage and good quality, they are major sources of water supply for industrial, agricultural and domestic uses. Karst springs in North China distribute in a quite large area, and show obvious heterogeneity, meanwhile, groundwater observation holes distribute unevenly, and observation data is sparse, which induce some barriers for the traditional applications of distributed hydrologic model based on the Darcy Law. Grey system theory describes karst groundwater system as a complex system whose characteristics are only partially known or known with uncertainty, it can analysis karst aquifers in a new way, which is stable and effective. The Jinci karst springs is located in the middle of Shanxi Province, on northwest side of Taiyuan Basin, it is a typical North China karst springs, and is main water resources of southwest Taiyuan for drinking and irrigation. The flow of the Jinci Springs decreases since1970s, and dries up in1994. The cutoff of flow is a huge damage for the native ecological environment and economy. Researching on the dynamic changes of Jinci Springs system and finding out reasons which caused the cutoff of flow can provide materials for reflow analysis and of significance for the native ecological environment restoration. This thesis takes the Jinci Springs as studying object, using grey system theory, sets up grey relational analysis model of groundwater flow and precipitation, and GM(1,1) dynamic model with recursive compensation by grey numbers of identical dimensions, it analysis dynamic changes and discharge changes of groundwater hydraulic response time in the Spring area, which is aimed at analyzing the stability and changeability of the Jinci Springs groundwater system; This thesis also analyzes reasons of spring flow cutoff in two aspects: natural factors and anthropogenic activities, based on the researches above, it reviews research trend of the Jinci Springs’ reflow, and makes a brief review on the feasibility analysis. The researches manifest that, the Jinci Springs system has changed under the influences of human activities and natural factors, the increase of groundwater hydraulic response time indicates that low groundwater table has induced changing of structure of aquifers, and groundwater flow field in this spring area. The main reason for the cutoff of the Jinci Springs is anthropogenic activities, especially for pumping, while the natural factors such as decreasing of precipitation have some influences on the cutoff, but it is not the main factor. Researching the reflow of the Jinci Springs, it needs analyzing stability of stratum structure in the spring area, then research the relativity and mobility of groundwater table with precipitation and spring flow, based on the understanding of regional hydrogeological condition.
