As a kind of health products, the fish oil is more and more popular among consumers. But due to the pollution and disadvantages exist in the raw material, processing methodsand conditions, the residue phenomenon of heavy metal is still a problem in the fish oilproducts. This paper first screened the chitosan and attapulgite as raw materials tomanufacture new adsorbent and then characterized its structure with the Ir KBr. The resultsshowed there was a acting force in the new adsorbent, and it had a better adsorption effectto heavy metal. When it separately adsorbed mercury (Ⅱ), lead (Ⅱ), cadmium (Ⅱ) andarsenic (Ⅲ), the adsorption rate could amount to86.5%,87.4%,88.4%and88.6%.We ensured the positive correlation relationship between the adsorption ability of newabsorbent and the deacetylation degree and load rate of chitosan through the simulationunder a single system of adsorption processes. When the load rate was10%, the adsorptionquantity could achieve the largest value. The best adsorption conditions for new absorbent:pH10, adsorption temperature was35℃, adsorption time for lead (Ⅱ), cadmium (Ⅱ),arsenic (Ⅲ) was60min, and80min to mercury (Ⅱ).This paper also researched the competition adsorption between oil phase of cadmium(Ⅱ) and copper (Ⅱ), and the best adsorption conditions are as follows: solid-to-liquid ratiowas2.26g/L, pH8.08, adsorption temperature was39.81℃and adsorption time was80.42min. In this condition, the adsorption rate of cadmium (Ⅱ) and copper (Ⅱ) reached83.19%and93.78%respectively. And the adsorption parameters is also feasible inpractical application.Last, through the study of isothermal adsorption model and adsorption dynamicsequation, we found the new type of adsorption to heavy metal in fish oil was a absorptionprocess, and happened on the surface of adsorbent. We took the competition adsorption and single adsorption as a comparison, the results showed there was a closer affinity existedbetween adsorbent and copper (Ⅱ) than cadmium (Ⅱ). This led to a significantly differentadsorption rate in the two kind of heavy metal. When the adsorption rate of copper (Ⅱ)was increasing, the adsorption rate of cadmium (Ⅱ) was significantly reducing.
