The elevator is one of the important models of mining machinery, the design level of adirect impact on the safety of the mine. With the popularization and development of thetheory of optimal design of modern design methods, design theory and design methods ofmining machinery positive automation and intelligent direction.Rely on the subjective experience designed to determine the hoist drum structure,making the uneven force science to some of the local drum cracking, partial collapse of theweld or connection bolts cut and other phenomena, and eventually lead to equipment failure,endanger the personal safety of production and staff. In this paper, to enhance the structuralcharacteristics and working principle of the machine, the structural design of the drum using anew thick shell elastic support roller structure. In research projects, flexible use of the elasticfoundation beam theory, the key components of the elastic support roller structure shell of,wheel and the calculation of the overall structure of the in-depth analysis, explore and systemsderivation of the formula, the establishment of the tube shell, round mechanical model,calculated on this basis to establish a mathematical model of optimization of the overallstructure, modern works under the premise of the guarantee to satisfy the geometricconstraints and performance constraints, discrete optimization method to study it to ensurethat the shell of support round the best position determine the reliability of the results and theoverall optimization to improve the safety and service life of the hoist.This article is in progress on the basis of the above study, reliability is introduced to thedesign of the hoist, the proposed method is applied to engineering practice to good effect. Itcan guide the product design and development, improve the hoist design quality, offer thespeed and level and product competitiveness for the industry to provide a modern designmeans that the study is of great significance.
