This thesis was based on the prepared flake silver powders. Flake silver powders, spherical silver powders, low melting point lead-free glass, terpineol and other organic solvents were used for preparing medium temperature and thick-film lead-free silver conductive paste. The Na-Ca glass powder influence of wire paste was studied; the flake silver powders, silver grading and silver content of the paste were studied; the terpineol-ethyl cellulose system of organic carrier volatile situation was studied.Taked spherical silver powders as raw material, flake silver powders were prepared by high energy ball milling. The flake silver powders particle size and morphology changes with the milling process in the high-energy ball milling were studied.Fixed silver powders content, the spherical silver powders were mixed with glass powders. Regulate the content of organic carrier, the lead-free conductive paste was mixed after rolling. The paste was printed to a glass substrate by the screen printing. After sintering of a certain temperature and time, the silver film were measured. The silver film’s adhesion and square resistance were studied by different sintering temperatures, different holding time, the glass powders content and different size glass powders. The influence of the glass powder on the silver paste was finded.Fixed silver powders content, flake silver powder and spherical silver powder were mixed according to certain ratio and glass powder and organic vehicle content were fixed and the sintering time and sintering temperature were kept consistently. After sintering, the printing performance and the square resistance of the paste in this condition were examined and this thesis studied the effect of the proportion of mixed silver on the paste performance.Fixed the proportion of flake and spherical silver powders, the silver powders content increased and reduced the content of organic carrier and glass powders. Keeping the best sintering time and temperature, the paste printing performance, square resistance and different content of silver powders influence of paste performance were studied.The volatile situation of paste was researched through terpineol-dibutyl phthalate-ethyl cellulose system. The thermal weight loss of each specimen was measured by different drying temperature and time. The drying temperature and time effects of the silver paste performance were reasearched.With this experimental design, the flake silver powders for paste printing were preparated. The flake silver powders size was8.55μm and apparent density was0.871g/cm3. When glass powders6%, the sintering temperature of680℃, sintering time7minutes, the glass powders particle size2.47μm, silver paste sintering properties was better. When flake silver powder: Spherical silver=4:1and the silver content of73%, square resistance was minimum6.59mΩ/□. The organic carrier including terpineol-dibutyl phthalate-ethyl cellulose system can achieve good drying effect in the100℃drying10min.
