In this paper,the bending and springback properties of annealing state5182aluminum alloy sheet in various forming temperature,forming speeds and bend angle were investigated by V-bend experiments,finite element simulation and the orthogonal experiments.The results of V-bend springback experiments showed that the springback angle of5182aluminum alloy sheet decreased with the forming temperature when the forming speed was1.5mm/s and the bend angle was90,while the springback angle of5182aluminum alloy sheet decreased with the forming speeds when the bend angle was90°and the forming temperature was lower than373K;when the forming temperature was higher than373K.The springback angle of5182aluminum alloy sheet didn’t change monotonously with the forming speeds.The springback angle was the minimum with the forming speed of1.0mm/s,and the springback angle took the second place with the forming speed of1.5mm/s, however the springback angle turned to be the largest when the forming speed was0.5mm/s.The springback angle decreased with the bend angle’s increases in different forming temperatures. Analysing the results of orthogonal experiments by variance and range methods showed that the bend angle was the most important and significant factor affecting the springback of the sheet,and the forming temperature was the secondary factor and the most unimportant and insignificant factor was the forming speed.The results of finite element numerical simulations suggested that the temperature of the sheet deformation area increased and the stress of the sheet deformation area decreased with the forming temperature’s increase.When the forming temperature was lower than373K,the temperature and stress of the sheet deformation area changed a little with the forming speed’s increase;When the forming temperature was higher than373K,the temperature of the sheet deformation area increased with the forming speed’s increase.However,the stress of the sheet deformation area didn’t change with the forming speeds monotonously and the stress was the minimum with the forming speed of1.0mm/s,The stress took the second place with the forming speed of1.5mm/s,however the stress was the largest with the forming speed of0.5mm/s.The equivalent strain and the stress of the sheet deformation area decreased with the bend angle’s increase.what’s more,the change trend of the simulation results and the experimental results were consistent.The results of V-bend springback compensation suggested that after the iteration of springback compensation,V-bend springback significantly reduced.
