Chinese trademark (1K101) for amorphous ribbon material has been the leader of domestic Fe-based amorphous ribbons market after a long-term development. In this paper, firstly the best weight percentage of three elements-Fe, Si, B is determined, then four different1K101amorphous ribbons with identical nominal composition are compared. Two representative ribbons of the change of magnetic properties caused by added elements are carried further research. Through these experiments the conclusions are:1) Fe91.7Si5.3B3.0has the best comprehensive magnetic properties;2)8#(the ribbon with the width of142mm,produced by wan-dun production line after September,2010) and9#(the ribbon with the width of142mm,produced by wan-dun production line before September,2010) have lower core loss than10#(the ribbon with the width of80mm, produced by qian-dun production line) and1l#(produced by Hitachi), when operation magnetic induction is lower than1.3T, and the exciting power of8#and9#is lower than10#and11#, while operation magnetic induction is higher than1.4T;3) The crystallization peak width of9#is less than that of11#, which increased with the increased heating rate, while the crystallization peak width of11#is relative stable; the two amorphous ribbons have the same overheating degree under the same heating rate, and the initial crystallization temperature is proportional to the cube root of the heating rate;4) The crystallization activation energy of imported amorphous ribbons and domestic amorphous ribbons are about297~300kJ/mol and335~340kJ/mol, respectively;5) For the same ribbon, the cooling rate decreases in turn from the sticking roller surface to the free surface; the as-melt spun ribbon of11#is completely amorphous, while the as-melt spun domestic ribbon of9#is not, the dimension of the magnetic phase is approximate100nm, the order of magnitude for the number density is approximate1015m-3; 6) The saturation magnetic induction of Fe80.8Cu1.2P2Si5B11(14#) and Fe82Cu1Nb1Si4B12(15#) which annealed under appropriate heat treatment temperature are significantly higher than the currently widely used ribbon with the added elements Cu and Nb.
