Steel plate and strip is an important kind of steel product widely used in eachindustry field. Shape is an important quality indicator of the plate and strip,including two items, crow and flatness. At present shape problem is stillubiquitous, then by reasonably making rolling schedule, the shape of strip productof can be improved to a certain extent.Rolling schedule is usually not the best in product quality, energyconsumption or yields made by traditional methods such as empirical method andenergy consumption curve method. By optimizing rolling schedule, thedeficiency of the traditional method can be avoided, and it can be achieved theoptimal rolling schedule of best quality, minimum energy consumption or thehighest yield.Rolling force model is an important mathematical model in the optimizingprocess of rolling schedule, and directly affects the accuracy and precision of therolling schedule optimization. This paper calculates and compares multi rollingforce formula according to the actual rolling data, and chooses the one which hasthe Minimum error to measured rolling force, so as to improve the accuracy ofrolling rules schedule optimization.There are many optimization method for rolling schedule, this paper choosesdynamic programming method as the basic optimization algorithm, establishingdynamic programming optimization model of rolling schedule based onanalytical plate shape theory, optimizes actual rolling schedules of a steel plant,obtains the optimal rolling schedule meeting the objective exit crown, andcalculates it’s Φ function.Φ function load assignment method is a simple and practical method ofmaking rolling schedule. Base on Φ functions of optimal rolling schedules oftypical steel grades and specifications, using Φ function load assignment method,then work out the rolling schedules of other adjacent specifications.
