In this paper, the acidity of methane liquid-phase oxidation esterification synthesis to methyl acetate was researched in the acetic acid mixtures, to characterize this special complex nonaqueous acetic acid mixtures. The scientific acidity analysis method of acetic acid mixtures was established, to association of the acidity of acetic acid mixtures and methane oxidation esterification synthesis to methyl acetate relationship, and to guide and promote methane liquid-phase oxidation esterification to methyl acetate in the acetic acid mixtures research and industrial application.Set up the UV-vis analysis. using methyl violet and ethanol as indicator and solvent in room temperature,1.08×10-2mmol/L methyl violet, acetic acid mixtures5μL/mL, the the acetic acid mixtures acidity was characterized. As a result, the method of UV-vis on the acidity of acetic acid mixtures is feasible, that can be characterized the acidity change of acetic acid mixtures and the variable is that the total acid consumption.Set up the FT-IR analysis, using n-butyl amine and ethanol as alkaline probe and solvent in room temperature,0.0017mL/mL n-butyl amine, acetic acid concentration of0.01mL/mL, the acetic mixed mixtures acidity was characterized. As a result, the method of FT-IR on the acidity of acetic acid mixtures is feasible, that can be characterized the acidity change of acetic acid mixtures and the variable is that the system-COOH acid center concentration.The connection UV-vis and FT-IR to determine the acidity of acetic acid mixtures results, and methane oxidation esterification reaction was associated too. The acidity of acetic acid mixtures and the methane oxidation esterification reaction was discussed, to respectively theoretically analyze total acid consumption and-COOH acid center concentration of acetic acid mixtures to methane oxidation esterification reaction. For we further research methane oxidation esterification reaction to provide the theory basis.
