Acid mine drainage is produced by mining process and after mining waste rock piles field, because of the generation of sulfate and acid when the sulfide ore mineral by oxidation. Develop at full speed of economy today, with the constant increase of the demand of the mineral products with the mankind. All kinds of mines and mining industry rapid development, but, the wastewater appeared in the process of mining also more and more serious. It brought great effect to the water of the environment. This paper studies the acid mine drainage from two aspects:on one hand from the source control on the acidic mine drainage, adopt the method of cover ore waste rock piles field, so as to control the generation of acidic waste water; on the other hand study on the resources use of acidic mine drainage generated in mines and mining waste rock piles field.The paper first study the method for controlling the acidic mine drainage, through the cylindrical experiments of coverage, the experimental process using fly ash and activated sludge as cover material. The result showed, the contrast of with a cover of ore samples and no cover’s, in the wastewater finally produced the pH value0.6higher, permeability leaching rate reduced by80%, the main content of heavy metal of the wastewater, copper ion reduced by28%, iron ion less reduced by18%, other metal ions change little. Experimental results showed that the method of covering the field waste ore for controlling mining waste rock piles, can reduce the oxidation of ore sulphur mineral, and the rate of surface water seeping into the waste rock piles field. Finally make the acidic mine drainage and the heavy metal ion concentration of it decreased.This paper also studies the acidic mine drainage containing copper which had generated of the mine for resource utilization. On the basis of reach standard emission, the purpose of the resource can be achieved. The paper treat the acidic wastewater containing copper by precipitation:the first step by adding10%of the lime milk22.5ml/l, at this time the pH value of the wastewater is3.65, stirring response30minutes, then add in the flocculant polyacrylamide5mg/l, flocculation for3minutes, filter the precipitation, it can remove the99%of iron ion of the wastewater, the loss of copper less than10%. The second step, added sodium sulfide amount of1.005g/l to the wastewater after dividing iron, stirring response5minutes, add in the flocculant polyacrylamide5mg/1, flocculation for3minutes, filter the precipitation, at this time the pH value of the wastewater is4.5, the copper ion content is0.24mg/1, the content of iron ion is3.47mg/1. Get out of the precipitation, the copper content is21.33%, and then the double neutralization, add the lime milk solution7.5ml/l, the wastewater pH balue is7, comes up to the national discharge standard.
