The supercritical water-cooled fast reactor is the unique water cooled one in the six candidatesof the Generation Ⅳadvanced nuclear reactor, compared with the common pressure water cooledreactor, it combines some distinct advantages: plant simplification design, high power density. Itadopts maturate technology of light water reactor and common power plant, without phase changingat normal circs, no boiling crisis, doesn’t need steam separators, thermal efficiency is high, canreach to44%-45%, It’s a a very promising advanced Nuclear Power system. it has compact coredesign, the coolant mass flow rate is just as1/8as in the BWR, neutron energy spectrum is harderthan thermal reactor, so it can not only produce power, but also has the potential of breeding nuclearfuel and transmuting MA. Nowadays, it becomes hotspot research at home and abroad.Improved SCWFR core-“Flower type” is built in this paper by MCNP which based on MonteCarlo method. The core is heterogeneous by zoning scheme which locates both seed and blanketassembly. The void reactivity effect is realized by ZrH as solid moderation、MOX fuel with suitabledesign、solid uranium matrix cooled by internal clad channels in blanket assembly. Further, betterpower distribution, and breeding ratio above1is reached by seed and blanket assembly withsuitable P/D value, MOX fuel enrichment with further zoning and so on. Finally, it realized thesolid safety and breeding ability of the reactor. This issue provides basic reference for the physics reactor core design of the supercriticalwater-cooled fast reactor, has great significance for the application and development of thesupercritical water-cooled fast reactor.
