With the development of materials technology and processing industry, thespacecraft products have better performance in function integration, and have longer lifeand higher reliability. When the traditional life test method is used to guide thereliability estimation and life prediction of the spacecraft institutions, there will be suchproblems, such as high test cost, the lack of failure data and so on, which may causeinvalid conclusions. Degradation test method provides a great of help to promote thesolution of these problems. On the one hand, degradation test can affiliate with solvingthe troubles when testing reveals no failures; on the other hand, the testing time can becontrolled effectively and the cost will be reduced.In this thesis, three methods (degradation path method, stochastic process modelmethod and mixed method) of the reliability analysis based on degradation data areexpounded and compared firstly. The characteristic and applicability of each method aresummarized, and a descriptive example is provided. Secondly, accounting for thespecial working environment of spacecraft institutions, the joint-degradation questionneeds to be considered, the mathematical description is described and the analysismethod, the estimation functions based on general distributions are given, and anadditional example is helpful to explain this method vividly. Finally, a method based onthe FTA method is put forward to solve the question how to estimate the degradationreliability of complex system which is almost impossible to be the degradation testingobject. In this method, the degradation states of components and subsystems are used toestimate the degradation state and reliability of system.
