| In the modern electronic information industry, YIG ferrite which is an important gyromagnetic material is widely used in the ferrite microwave devices. With the development of microwave telecommunication towards miniaturization, light weight, integrated all-in-one, it is necessary for material to own high-spin wave linewidth, low dielectric loss tan8s, narrow ferromagnetic resonance linewidth AH and better stability, etc. In this paper, YIG ferrites were prepared by solid state reaction, and the samples were characterized by XRDã€VSM, SEM and the test system of narrow ferromagnetic resonance linewidth. The result shows that the pure YIG sintering at1450℃has the best magnetic properties. In addition, iron composition and doping Mn2+doping can significantly reduce the dielectric loss tanδε, while have a little effect on saturation magnetization Ms. Different saturation magnetization can be obtained by doping of Al3+and narrow ferromagnetic resonance line width AH can be got by doping of In3+and Zr4+. Based on the prepared material, microstrip circulator was designed, and three-dimensional simulation model was set up according to the material parameters using Ansoft HFSS electromagnetic simulation software. Finally, Ku-band circulator was prepared by the screen printing method, and the scattering parameters were measured by vector network analysis Agilent8722ES. The circulator had good performance device with insertion loss of-1.3dB, isolation of-22dB and the bandwidth was wide in center frequency of15GHz. These results not only shows that the prepared YIG material had good excellent magnetic properties and can be used for microstrip circulator, but also prove the design of microstrip circulator which based on the prepared YIG is correct. The developed devices are close to practical application. |
