| Under the background of a national defense project, using the finite element method and structure optimization (topology optimization and size optimization) for the upper carriage structure optimization design of a large caliber gun and in optimal upper carriage model based on redesign of the cradle structure so as to reduce the two trunnion centre position of gun launching so as to improve the gun fire dispersion. This paper involves the upper carriage is an important components of the larger caliber truckmounted howitzer,which plays a connection and supporting role. in the process of firing the upper carriage requiremented to bear larger impact load, when firing recuperate force and recoil force difference is bigger, therefore the upper carriage two trunnion bearing asymmetric, causing the displacement of trunion centre difference is too large, and the firing dispersion to be effected.This article mainly research the gun fire dispersion effected on the Stiffness and Strength of upper carriage and cradle. This paper studies the original upper carriage model is to use empirical design, test show that the firing dispersion test can not meet the design index, after the gun detailed inspection found upper carriage and cradle has plastic deformation, through the finite element analysis and design improvement, though again test found no plastic deformation, but the upper carriage stiffness is poorer, the displacement of trunion centre larger lead to firing dispersion still can not reach the requirements. This paper tries to through the upper carriage structure optimization design and cradle structure improvement design to reduce the displacement of trunion centre, so as to further improve the firing dispersion, and hope the new design model lightweight based on the required of strength.In the process of Artillery structure design, simulation analysis and optimization design plays a very important role for Shorten the design cycle, reduce product materials consumption and improve product precision and performance. Based on this, the theory and method of structural topology optimization and size optimization design in product development process analyzed, and practical application for the design of the upper carriage structure. |
