The main content of this paper is the study of thetwo-dimensional automatic solar panel tracking system and therealization of maximum power generation task. Solar energy is a newgreen power, which is paid attention by countries around the world.Especially, photovoltaic power is the most direct and effective way asthe use of solar energy that will bring a new energy revolution tohuman. The photovoltaic generation system usually adopts fixedinstallation or one-dimensional tracking mode. Although its structureis simple, the power generation efficiency is low, which is notconducive to the full use of solar energy.This paper based on Msp430F149single chip microcomputeras controller adopts photoelectric tracking method and visual motiontrajectory tracking method with the combination of two-dimensiontracking mode and can greatly improve the maximum utilizationefficiency of solar energy. According to the weather condition todetermine the tracking way, the system adopts photoelectric trackingmode in Sunny day and trajectory tracking mode in Cloudy day. Itdoes not use any way of tracking in order to reduce system powerconsumption in rainy day. The whole system contains solar automatictracking system and photovoltaic power system. Therefore, thesystem includes the hardware design and the writing program. Thehardware design includes solar position detection module, lightintensity detection module, data acquisition module, MCU controlmodule, PV power module and the motor drive circuit module.System software design adopts the modular programming idea, thesystem function is divided into main program of solar automatictracking, solar trajectory tracking procedure, photoelectric trackingprogram and data acquisition program. Finally, the implementation ofthe function of the whole system is tested. The simulation results of the corresponding module shows that it can realize the automatictracking of the sun.Photovoltaic power system of this paper supplies the electricityof corresponding transformation which is from the solar array inorder to realize the load demand. It chooses lead-acid battery to meetthe demand of system energy, which can realize the whole systemenergy self-sufficient in cloudy and rainy weather conditions andmake the most of solar energy.
