Aiming at increasing germination and seedling rate of plant on saline-alkali land,48hydrogen-oxidizing bacteria strains were isolated from the rhizosphere of Hippophae rhamnoides which planted in Loess Plateau by a continuous hydrogen gas supply. Petri dishes test showed that2of the48bacteria strains could steadily increase germination under salt stress.Strain WS6which promoted highest germination rate was characterised as bacillus.sp. Through the determination of wheat’s and rape’s physichemical factors under salt stress during the period of germination, strain WS6could conqer the resistant of salt stressed wheat and rape can be demonstrated.With inoculated WS6, MAD and antioxidant enzymes activities were increasede,especialy activities of enzyme CAT and POD. Proline content in the control group reached1383μg-ml-1after11days, which is3.8times higher than the inoculated group.The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD)3kinds of antioxidant enzymes activity present different changes. The activity of SOD in fluctuation change by bacteria in a lower rise first group and increased again change trend, and the control group is present in the trend of increase at first reduce, low under salt stress especially clear. CAT, POD activity, with inoculated WS6the wheat and rape processing enzyme activity significant higher than the control group activity of processing.Plant leaf in the amount of IAA and ABA are significantly change volatility. Within inoculated WS6have adapt to the group of salt stress environment ability, and then secrete hormones IAA and ABA, maintain plant seedling growth, ease salt stress. And without inoculated WS6in the control group, IAA and ABA content were eventually present trend to decrease, can not adapt to salt stress environment.With assuring that inoculate strain WS6can promote wheat and rape growth under salt stressed conditions,a further study in growth promoting factors of Rs-198were practised. CAS plate showed that strain Rs-198could secret siderophore.Possibly secreting siderophore took responsibility for promoting wheat and rape growth.
