Object:To characterize the growth property of different thyroid tumor cells, as well as to provide a theoretical basis for effective personality treatment in clinic, the expression differences of various adhesion molecules were studied.Methods:Samples:20 samples of surgical treatment of follicular thyroid adenoma, nodular goiter and papillary thyroid carcinoma, respectively. Special treatment were not used on all the samples before surgery, and were verified by pathological examination. Experiments:by using the immunohistochemical staining method, the expression of CXCR4, HMGB1, CD 106 were observed, the optical absorption density were used for the comaprision of the three groups by using semi-quantitative image analysis. Results:All the cells expressed CXCR4, HMGB1, CD 106, and the expression were increasing with the order:follicular thyroid adenoma> nodular goiter> papillary thyroid carcinoma. The optical absorption density were measured with sample PCI image analysis system, the results in follicular thyroid adenoma were:0.2317±0.0824, 0.2543±0.0279,0.2478±0.0692; in nodular goiter were:0.3258±0.0329,0.4021±0.0936, 0.3167±0.0632; in papillary thyroid carcinoma were:0.4191±0.0581,0.4130±0.0298, 0.4265±0.0439. The data of the three groups were significant difference according to the F-test.Conclusion:All the cells expressed CXCR4, HMGB1, CD 106, and with a increased order of:adenoma> nodular goiter> papillary thyroid carcinoma. The high expression of CXCR4、HMGB1、CD106 were related with the pathological features of the persistent growth of the tumor cells; these adhension molecules might be the reason infiltration and persistent growth of Tumor cell.
