Research purposes Chronic kidney disease (hereinafter referred to as CKD)as a common syndrome of kidney disease, including kidney disease in a wide range of patients with kidney disease, prevalence rate is high, it has become a global public health security issues, with higher medical level in china and more individual attention on chronic disease,the gap between a higher prevalence of rate and lower rate of awareness has narrowed significantly, cl inical experiences have confirmed that Chinese medicine treatment of the disease have obvious advantages, can effectively slow down the progress of chronic kidney disease, with high social value.Grasping the chronic kidney disease syndrome of TCM, and then improve the accuracy of the dialectical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in TCM, is an important part in working out the advantages of TCM in treating CKD.A search of the recent papers has revealed that in all review on chronic renal disease syndromes of TCM research progress, retrospective study is clearly too more than prospective study, in view of this, this research is based on the chronic kidney disease syndromes of TCM prospective observation and analysis of the research in this field, hoping to make a useful complement to.Methods According to the United States K/DOQI clinical practice guidelines for chronic kidney disease evaluation and staging of the proposed collection cases in2002, cases from Dongzhimen hospital Kidney Department outpatients and hospitalized patients between September2011and January2012, a total of206cases,all cases were referred to "Chinese medicine clinical guidelines" by the State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine in2002, relating to chronic nephritis and chronic renal failure principle of clinical research on chronic kidney disease were classified, and in the light of "diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine" to regulate dialections, and then obtain research data according to the study purpose of staging statistics and multi angle as a whole analysis summary.Results After statistical analysis, all206patients with chronic kidney disease cases,according to the frequency of occurrence, top10symptoms were as follows:weakness (88.3%),soreness of the waist and the knees (77.7%),dry mouth (48.1%), dizziness and tinnitus (44.6%), edema (44.2%), fearness of cold extremities (43.7%),urinary frequency or nocturnal enuresis (42.2%),eat less and abdominal distension (39.3%),dysphor with feverish sensation in chest (38.8%),less yellow urine (38.8%).According to frequency,deficiency Syndromes from high to low:deficiency syndrome of both spleen qi and kidney qi (24.8%), deficiency syndrome of both spleen yang and kidney yang (23.3%), deficiency syndrome of yin and Yang(20.3%), deficiency syndrome of both liver yin and kidney yin (17.5%),deficiency syndrome of Qi and yin (13.1%),deficiency syndrome of both lung qi and kidney qi(4.9%). According to frequency, excessive Syndromes from high to low:Blood Stasis Syndrome (39.8%),damp-heat syndrome (28.6%),wet and muddy Syndrome (25.7%), wet Water syndrome (20.9%).Conclusions In206patients with chronic renal disease cases, five most frequent symptoms are:weakness, soreness of the waist and the knees, dry mouth, dizziness and tinnitus, edema; deficiency Syndrome appears mainly as spleen kidney-qi deficiency syndrome and spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome; and excessive Syndromes mainly as blood stasis and damp-heat syndrome.
