Zi Water Qinggan Method After Female Adolescent Acne Treatment Clinical Observation And Research Effects On Serum Testosterone

Purpose: On observing the clinical efficacy of supplying the methodof zishuiqinggan drink for treating female after-adolescence acne,the author try to find out the safe and effective treatment method,Methods: Select the112cases with confirmed female after-adolescence acne patients. The112patients are divided intotreatment group (72cases) and contrast group (40cases) at random，and randomly selected30healthy adult women without acne in thehospital medical check-up center as a health group. The treatmentgroup are treated for zishuiqinggan drink, while the contrast groupare given the clearing-heat acne tablets, four weeks is a course oftreatment. To observe the changes of clinical efficacy aboutbefore-and-after treatment, the patients of treatment group,contrast group and health group are tested for serum testosterone(T) level. Four weeks later, review the serum testosterone level ofpatients between treatment group and contrast group, adopt the x2testand t test during the data processing, and compare the serumtestosterone level’s change among health group, treatment groupand contrast group. Results：1. After4weeks treatment, the total effective rate of treatmentgroup is91.67%, the cure rate is23.61%, while the total effectiverate of control group is75%, the cure rate is7.5%. On statisticsanalysis, the difference is significant.2. Before treatment, the serum testosterone level of treatment groupand contrast group is higher than health group, but there is nosignificant difference between treatment and contrast group. Aftertreatment, serum testosterone level of treatment group issignificantly lower than before treatment (P <0.05), there issignificant difference. The comparison of serum testosterone levelbefore and after treatment (P>0.05) for contrast group,statistically this makes no sense.3. During the course of treatment, the adverse reaction rate oftreatment group is1.38%, significantly lower than7.5%of contrastgroup, through the test, there is significant difference between thetwo groups (P <0.05).4. The analyses show that the recurrence rate of treatment group is1.8%,while the recurrence rate of contrast group is27%, so treatment group is lower than contrast group, there is significant difference(P <0.05) between the two through the testConclusion：1. Zishuiqinggan drink is effective for treating femaleafter-adolescence acne, it has low side effect, low recurrence rateand it affects for a long time.2. Zishuiqinggan drink can effectively reduce serum testosteronelevel of female after-adolescence acne,and it is characterized byanti-androgen activity.
